Today, I've been to the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2011, to see the Moviesquad Award show (the jury where I was in last year).
As you all know, we chose the movie J'ai tué ma mere last year,
made by the young Xavier Dolan.
This year, they chose the new film of Dolan as winner: Les Amours Imaginaires.

I really loved this movie, just like J'ai tué ma mere.
Xavier Dolan has his own way of filming and everything, that makes it regocnizable and just very special..
I loved the choice of music, the subtle way of acting, the things that made the film almost a piece of art..

Well, anyway.
You should all check it out (:

From today the movie will be shown in cinema's all over the country.

In 2009, at this time of the year,
I was part of the Moviesquad jury at the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
I had a great time there.
Saw amazing movies, met nice people and just had a great experience.

As the youth jury, we chose 'J'ai tué ma mere' as best movie.

Watch that movie!

It's just..

The music is so beautiful, the way of filming and the little parts between scenes are so artistic, the actors are great and the clothing is very cool. I just love everything about that movie.

So, my advise for you all; watch the movie!

So, yesterday I've been to the movie 'Love and other drugs' with some friends.
The opinions about the film were devided, but I really liked it!
There was a lot of humor in it, but later on also a message where you could learn from.
And ofcource, Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal are both wonderful actors!

hmmmm, toooo late! But both were very busy (Roos is still dyeing her room) while mine was almost done (just a big photo or a piece of art above bed and it'll be complete :) )
&&& I really wanted to change the collage that was currently hanging on another wall again.
Took plenty of time 'cause I have way too much nice photos I'd like to use which made me completely confused. So at first I made total ugly mess of it all but conclusive I was pleased though with the result....

After a day babysitting my nephews and nieces, we (twinsister and I) just want to lay down on the couch and watch a movie.. SO, Let's do this!:

Time flies.
So incredibly fast,
that sometimes I can't keep up.

Like now.
Tisha and I had our last day in London today,
we are leaving in 3 hours.

It's so weird,
We have been here for 8 days but it just feels like one very long day.

Today we have been to the Photographers Gallery, near Oxford street. There was an exposition of my ultimate favourite photographer: Sally Mann.

Ofcource it was truely amazing.

Afterwards we hade dinner and went to Southbank, via Picadilly Circus. Walking in London while it's getting later and darker feels so great.
Als these beautiful lights and all the people.
It's amazing.

Tisha and I managed to make a little film.
I made pictures of Tisha in the croud en put them together.

It took me about 1,5 year before I actually bought white converse.. Never like them so.. brand new, all white...

FRUSTRATIONS!
At 6pm I thought about making a SHORT video... tried for 3 ** hours but the ** program doesn't except my freaking video's. What the hell?

..*sigh*..

No need for stress! =) Don't like that. Just disappointed I'm not able to show you guys a short self-made video.. had it all figured out..oh and my camera also (still) doesn't work how it's supposed to be.. Well. MAYBE ANOTHER TIME ! Who knows!?

For now. I'll just post a video of someone else which I really like.
It's a curious one.
It has unexpected turns.
It's a trip (always in to a travel).
I love the city, the buildings, the morning light.
And the repeating tune fits the sphere exactly..: on the go!

Okay, officially it is already Wednesday,
but I'm still awake making the blog of Tuesday.

What a night.

Tisha and I came back from Zeeland for one day
and night. We are returning tomorrow.

We went to a friends house to watch the game
Holland - Uruguay there with a lot of people.

Holland won, AGAIN!
So they will be playing in the finales of the world
champion ships of soccer, this Sunday.

AMAZING.

In the latest 10 minutes there was some confusion,
and we had put a camera on the television, so you
can see how much we wind up during the game.

As you all know, I have been on camp with my class a few weeks ago.

Still saving up for a filmcamera, I filmed this with my mobile phone.
So the quality is very bad.
But this video is all about memories, so for me, it doesn't matter.

For today we'll post another video of a mcfly concert. It was our second time and their playlist did excist of a couple of old songs which reminds us of soooo many memories. We love it, and the sound of the video isn't even that bad (except for all the CRAZY 'fans' who can't shut their mouth for a second! ) =D
