So, I have been to Paris with 4 girlfriends for a few days.
It was amazing!
I had a lot of fun with my friends (who I hadn't seen for a very long time) and just being in Paris was sooo awesome!
I am already missing everything,
including the beautiful view we had from our house:
More photo's will follow later.

A warm sigh of Italian.
Just came home from a lovely dinner with my mum and twin-sister.
The restaurant was absolutely one of the most pleasant Italian restaurant I've ever been!
The staff were informal in a good way and the salon was cosy but with enough privacy!
They served the day menu (every day there's another 4 course menu):
Starter: Several typical Italian snacks(such as parmesan with dried tomatoes, a special salami etc.) + small slices baguette with balsamico-oil and sea salt.
In between: 3 bites of different pastes. One with truffle, one with original red sauce and another one with cheese and spinach.
Main Course: I had the vis variant: a big shrimp, Bass(zeebaars), and Coquilles Saint Jacques. (Drunk a dry white wine with it).
My sis had quail and my mum entricote(a steak). All of them were lovely! (YES I ate meat. I've eaten no meat for about 2,5 years now but this evening the moment, the menu was perfect to taste a tiny bit of it all. Besides the antricote and the special salami non of it all will be worth giving up my vegetarian way of eating).
Dessert: A lovely self-made tiramisu.
After we were done with the menu the restaurant gave us a cake(that's what the always do I guess 'cause I saw them giving it others as well).
At the very end our host gave us a shot of a alcoholic drink and I asked him if he'd toast with us and he did.
The perfect end of a lovely evening i guess.
I'm sorry I don't have any pictures but I forgot my camera and can't find some pictures that would represent my experience with the restaurant on the internet..
But the most important thing of this post is my recommodation to all of you to visit it one day!:

During these christmasdays I discern myself missing someone even more then I already did..
My godmother, Naomi van Stapelen is in Kenia for about 5 months now and she'll be staying there for 5 more.
Though, I really appreciate why she went & I'd like to pay some attention to it!
She doing a research for The University of Amsterdam(UVA) and besides she's busy with the reason she's always travelled to Kenia: her own foundation called Duara which assists (and I'm quoting now) 'Maji Mazuri' to build a community and education center right in the slum but with vital frontage on the main road that skirts it. This means that secure access to the building will be available day and night. This 30,000 square foot facility will house all of the existing Maji Mazuri programs – the Head Start school, with places for 350 children, the micro-business loan program, the Talent Program for youth from 4-22 years - plus a new clinic, a community hall, a library, and an Internet café. 2 floors will provide modern, spacious classrooms, and we will have a large and secure playground on the roof. There will be an elevator for the disabled children, solar panels to generate electricity and a rain water harvesting system.
Besides assisting Maji Mazuri in the construction of the building and raising funds for the educational facilities, Duara focuses in
particular in assisting Maji Mazuri on realising the Talent Program
I Think she does a wonderful Job (research as well as her foundation) and it's definitely worth missing her .. though I'd really like it to see her @ home.. <3

hmmmm, toooo late! But both were very busy (Roos is still dyeing her room) while mine was almost done (just a big photo or a piece of art above bed and it'll be complete :) )
&&& I really wanted to change the collage that was currently hanging on another wall again.
Took plenty of time 'cause I have way too much nice photos I'd like to use which made me completely confused. So at first I made total ugly mess of it all but conclusive I was pleased though with the result....
Made a short clip of the process :)

So I painted my entire room WHITE. Loving it; it's really refreshing AND it gives enough space for me to make some beautiful collages who'll add the sphere to my room!
For now I'm planning to make at least one b/w collage.
Here's a small amount of the photos I gathered so far.
you'll might recognize this last one out of a collage which I posted a loooong time ago, but what the hell :)

I'm loving this winter weather!
It really makes me fall in love with the scenery!
Unfortunately I only made some photos with my analog
camera of which the photos haven't been developed yet..
BUT I spotted this incredible photo of which I hope it'll make you
fall in love with this weather as well.

Today we did a photoshoot for the posters of our schoolplay. I shot the photo's and I would like to show you some pictures of behind the scenes.
The real photo's will be released when the posters are hanging in the school.
The piece that we are going to play is called 'Welcome to the sixties', an edited version of 'Hairspray'.
