The finals of So You Think You Can Dance were Sunday.
It was soooo exciting!
The level of the dancers was so extremely high,
and the dances were all awesome.

I had to favourites:
Floris & Lise.

They were really my number ones.

Unfortunately, Lise became third.
BUT STILL, she was chosen as the best female dancer of
Holland AND Belgium!

BUT..
FLORIS WON SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE!!!

He is only 18 years old, is still on school and dances every style
very, very good!

So at last, I was very happy.

To show my respect to both Floris and Lise,
I would like to show you one of the dances they danced at the finals.

I loooved it!
It's a hip hop lyrical by Vincent Vianen.
The dance is about a couple, saying goodbye to each other.

After we played 'Zwarte Pieten' yesterday,
we made a few pictures of me with my black skin and my own, blonde hair.

They turned out really weird,
and I edited one of the photos.

This is the result:

So, in Holland we celebrate this thing called Sinterklaas.
An old man called Sinterklaas who lives in Spain visits Holland every year during November & December to celebrate his birthday.
At 5 December, his birthday, he will visit every home with children to bring them presents and candy.
The weeks before once in a while children can put their shoe under the chimney in the evening.
When they wake up the next morning, there will be a present in the shoe.

Sinterklaas has a lot of helpers to bring the presents.
These helpers are called 'Zwarte Pieten'.
They are black because of the soot of the chimney.

Today Tisha & I played 'Zwarte Pieten', and it was so much fun!
I loooved to see how happy the children were to see us,
and It really made my day very special (:

Haha, we really look very ugly, but we still want to show them to you,
just for the idea!

Sunday, we had to say goodbye to two wonderful dancers,
at So You Think You Can Dance:

Enora & Stefano.

I was a huge fan of Enora, and really loved Stefano too.
So I would like to give them a moment here,
showing you a hip-hopdance about two cleaners who want
to break out and rock the world.

Just watching this dance gives me sooo much energy!

Sunday, I was asked to make some pictures at a ´discover music´-day for kids.
It was very inspiring to see, and I would like to show you a few of the pictures that I made there:












Music brings out the best of people.
Just like dance, theatre and art.

I think it´s a really lame and stupid choice by the government to cut 220 million on art. A large part of the art will not survive these cuts.

But what is a country without art, without culture?
