Posting this blog a day after the deadline,
but we celebrated our birthday so didn´t have any time

Exactly one year after the death of Michael Jackson.

I can still remember that day so well.
I was in shock.
Everybody was in shock.

And from that day, Michael Jackson was EVERYWHERE.

On the radio, on television, in the papers, in magazines, and even in fashion..

















One thing is certain: the legend won't be forgotton.
Rest in peace, Michael.

As you all know, I have been on camp with my class a few weeks ago.
I've made a little report of it, and I would like to show it here.

Still saving up for a filmcamera, I filmed this with my mobile phone.
So the quality is very bad.
But this video is all about memories, so for me, it doesn't matter.

When I paint. I prefere to use ... the floor! It just works! I mean come on, the space to surround myself with all the useable stuff..(a LOT of pencils, pens, sketches).. my desk doesn't compare with it!

A report of our day.
First we watched the game Holland - Japan of the Worldchampionships of Soccer with some friends. They won with 1-0.
After that we went to the city, but see yourself:

As you might know I promised Roos a t-shirt for her past birthday ..
She's almost turning 16 and I still haven't made her one.
SO. I started making it reality...

Had a very long schoolday,
So didn't have much time to shoot new photos.

That's why I started searching between all our old

Leaving The Netherlands.. not knowing I would love England this much..


So. I already told you I have been to England past Holiday. Oh gosh! I really don't know exactly what it is, I just know I love it!
I always dreamed of warmer climates than The Netherlands so I never thought England would have such an impact on me..but it did! ..
We stayed over close to bournemouth but travelled to different places and even during the rides there was so much to see.. One of the most impressive things were the running wild horses I think.. While the cars are driving with such speeds they were still so calm, beautiful!



And than there's this beach; Highcliffe. Absolutely not the typical beach (there wasn't even good weather!) I imagine when I think of holidays. Maybe that's why. I don't know! But my heart's still there. I'm serious! I can look at some pictures for hours, wishing I will be there again; I like rocky beaches, hills, expanse.. it was beautiful!



So.. if I watch these pictures (sorry they're not the best) I really do get the feeling back. Hope it does something to you guys and it's not just a matter of memories (which I fear)..

People often ask me what kind of music I like.
And even though I have heard this question so many times,
I still haven´t figured out the right answer.

I listen to all kinds of music.
Rock, Jazz, Soul, Pop, Electro, Rap, Hip-Hop, Classical, Dubstep, Urban, Punk, Alternative.

I can´t find a music style that I do not ever listen!

Today I would like to post my favourite rap-song.

I've listened to this song since I was very young,
and it made a huge impression on me.
But I never fully understood what the song was about.


A few years ago, I read the book 'oppassen',
about a mother with the Munchaussen Syndrome.
When you suffer from this disease, you make yourself or your children sick,
to get atention from doctors.
I was really shocked by the book, and I wanted to find more information
about this disease. When I started researching, I found out that this song,
written by Eminem, is about his mother who suffered from this disease.

When I heard the song the first time after I found this out,
It even made a bigger impression on me.
So I would really like to give you this impression too.

Today was the first game of the Dutch footbal team during the World Championships.
We watched the game with the whole school, was really funny!
Even though they didn´t play as well as they usually do, Holland won with 2-0 of Denemarken.
